FINNO project at the South East Europe Annual Conference 2012
In order to present the outstanding steps in getting closer both EU Member States and non-EU member States, thus ensuring the regional development as a holistic and sustainable concept for the benefit of all people the South East Europe (SEE) Programme under the title “The Future built on the Present” organized the annual conference on 29 June 2012 in Bologna, Italy, Hotel Carlton. The conference aimed to be the key territorial cooperation event in 2012 in South Eastern Europe, and this year was visited by more than 300 visitors and participants.
The conference was organized in three sessions and projects fair. The sessions were focused on the future issues and South East Europe Region in future regional policies; projects’ results as perceived from target groups/stakeholders – results from real people in real time; and elaboration of the current results with the focus to the future of the Programm.
More than 20 projects among which the FINNO project were presented on the projects fair during the conference. The fair had a great interest and according to the FINNO project representatives Klavdija U. from the Lead Partner, TIA, Slovenia and Bisera K., from the Project Partner responsible for communication activities AGINNOVAZIONE, Italy, the conference and the number of visitors and interested institutions in the FINNO project proved the importance of development of mutual mechanisms for innovation policies in the SEE region and broader. This is additional impulse for more active involvement of all policy makers and stakeholders in the South East Europe region.
